Description
This is the Concrete Factory, and it’s the building used to produce Reinforced Concrete in Anno 1800. It sits at the end of the Reinforced Concrete production chain, making it the final step in the process.
To create Reinforced Concrete in Anno 1800, the factory needs two key inputs: Cement from the Limestone Quarry and Steel from the Steel production chain. Once both materials arrive, the factory takes one minute to produce one ton of Reinforced Concrete.
What is produced
This is Reinforced Concrete in Anno 1800, and it’s produced at the Concrete Factory. It’s an important building material, and most late game buildings require it. However, Reinforced Concrete has no benefit when taken on expeditions.

Improvements
In this section we will look at what improvements we can do to increase the productivity and efficiency of the Concrete Factory. The first thing that we will look at is the placement of the Concrete Factory. This can benefit it massively as you will need to have an efficient supply chain leading to it of the items that it requires. The next thing that we will look at is the Trade Union that can give benefits to the Concrete Factory. The final thing that we can do is add electricity to the building.
Placement
In this section we will be looking at what the placement can do for the Concrete Factory. The placement of buildings in Anno 1800 is one of the main things that can improve the efficiency of the Concrete Factory.

Here we can see the simple placement of the Concrete Factory. As you can see the Furnace leads directly in to the Concrete Factory and also the Limestone Quarry also leads directly into it. We have also placed a Warehouse down so the Reinforced Concrete can enter your inventory very quickly.
Trade Union
In this section we will be looking at what items we can be added to the Trade Union to improve the productivity and efficiency of the Concrete Factory. You can obtain these items from many places around your Anno 1800 world. These include vendors, MPC’s, expeditions, quests and more. Lets take a look at these now.
These are the items that you can use in the Trade Union for the Concrete Factory.
Electricity
One of the best things that you can do for the Concrete Factory is supply it with Electricity. Supplying it with Electricity will instantly double its output of Reinforced Concrete.
Layouts
In this section we will be looking at what layouts we can use for the Concrete Factory. Layouts are very important in Anno 1800 as they can massively improve the whole chain of buildings that are required to obtain the final product. We will now look at a couple of layouts for the Concrete Factory.
Option 1
In this layout we will be using a Warehouse to carry all of the items that the Concrete factory requires by way of the Warehouse. This is a good layout as the Concrete Factory requires the Steel production chain and also will need a Limestone Quarry. Both of these items require items from by mountains so the Warehouse can easily transport them here. It also means that the completed Reinforced Concrete will enter your inventory quickly. Thus, keeping your supply of Concrete in Anno 1800 efficient.

Option 2
Here we can see that the Concrete Factory is placed by a Warehouse so that it can receive Cement from the Limestone Quarry directly. The Furnace is placed close by but will be supplied by the Warehouse of Raw Iron and Coal to produce Steel. This means that the Concrete Factory receives all of its items in a timely manner and can start producing. It also means that Reinforced Concrete will enter your inventory as quickly as possible.
