Description
The pub is a building in Anno 1800 that will provide your population of Farmers and Workers with one of their luxury need. This will enable that your income will increase as all of your Farmers and Workers will use the pub. The local population around the pub will be serviced and this will bring in extra income. The pub becomes available at 150 Farmers meaning that it is an early build. The pub will give the Farmers residences in range a +12 happiness, while Workers will receive a +6 happiness bonus. This will than enable your population to grow rapidly.

One of the best ways to ensure that your pub is having influence over as many houses as possible is by the placement. Placement is a key metric when planning your city layouts. For the pub similar to how the marketplace the best and most efficient place is the centre of your residences. This will ensure that the maximum number of residences are served by the influence of the pub.
