Description

This is the Sheep farm in Anno 1800. It is an early build that you will place down in the farmers section of the build menu. The sheep farm sits at the start of the Work clothes production chain for that are produced at the Framework knitters along with other items such as sails in the Old World. The sheep farm will produce one ton of wool every 30 seconds or two tons per minute.


What is produced

The sheep farm produces wool. Wool is used by Artisans as a lifestyle need. The wool will be sent to the Warehouse that can then be distributed around your islands to buildings that require it. Wool can be used for expeditions and grants 10 bonus to crafting and 20 bonus to morale for every 50 tons taken. It is also a lifestyle need of Artisans.

Layouts

In this section we will look at some layouts to assist in the Sheep farm in Anno 1800 .

Option 1

The first layout the Sheep farm in Anno will be a very basic layout. There will also be a Warehouse that will take in the wool. This is the simplest layout for a Sheep farm in Anno 1800. To expand onto this you could also place the Warehouse next to the sheep farm and this would transfer the wool just as quick.

Option 2

In this layout we will be creating a longer layout. In this layout we will be placing the Sheep farm into a long line. The advantage of this layout is that it can fit on smaller, longer islands. We can also place production buildings around the Warehouse and the wool will go into those buildings first and then onto the Warehouse.

This build will produce three tons of wool every 30 seconds or six tons a minute.

Option 3

In this layout we will look at creating a square layout. This is an ideal layout that can be moved easily and replicated across your islands. In this build we will be adding a Warehouse so that the wool can be delivered efficiently. We can see that in this layout their is a gap on either side of the Warehouse and this can be used for placing other buildings. These buildings could be Framework knitters or Sailmakers.
