Description

This is the Weapons factory in Anno 1800. The Weapons factory is part of the Weapons production chain. This factory will take steel and convert that in to weapons. Once converted you can then use these weapons to build ships and base defence. The Weapons factory in Anno 1800 can only be built in the Old World. The Weapons factory will turn one ton of steel into one ton of weapons every 90 seconds.


What is produced

This factory produces weapons. Weapons are used for all miliary ships along with all of the base defence guns. The weapons are used for the production of military ships along with mounted guns and cannon tower along with others. For expeditions weapons will give you 15 points on naval power and 15 points to morale for every 50 tons of weapons.

Electricity

When you achieve Engineer level electricity becomes available. When you attach electricity to the weapons factory the output would double. This will also mean that you will need to increase the input into the factory. So ensure that you have enough furnaces to accommodate the increase.


Layout

In this section wee will look into what layouts we can use for the Weapons factory in Anno 1800.

Option 1

In this layout we will be placing the weapons factory next to the Furnace with a Warehouse close by. This layout is an efficient early build that can supply you with weapons. using a layout like this you will also have some steel left over that can go to other production chains.

Here we can see the layout with three Weapons factories. This will triple the production of the of weapons. Here we can see three Weapons factories placed next to each other being supplied by a Furnace. Their is also a Warehouse close by to get the weapons into your inventory as quick as possible.
