Improvements

In this section we will be looking at what improvements we can make to the Jewellers. The first thing that we will look at is the placement of the Jewellers. We will then take a look at what items can be added to the Trade union to improve the Jewellers. Finally we will look at what happens when we add Electricity to the Jewellers.

Layouts

In this section we will be looking at what layouts we can use for the Jewellers. This is a complex building to design for as some of the products can only come form the the New World and be dealt with in the Old World. Lets take a look at these layouts now.

Option 1

In this layout we will be using a simple design so that the goods from the New World will be delivered to the Trading post and then delivered to the appropriate buildings for processing. Here we can see a Trading post that will receive the Gold Ore from a Gold Mine and Pearls from a Pearl Farm from the New World. The Gold Ore will go into the Goldsmiths along with Coal to produce the Gold. This Gold will then go into the Jewellers. The Pearls will arrive at the Trading post and will go directly from the Warehouse to the Jewellers.

Option 2

This is a very similar layout to the layout above. The mechanics work the same in the way that the goods are moved around. The difference here is that their is now Trade union for you to be able to improve the buildings in this layout.

Option 3

This is the layout that you would need in the New World to accommodate what is required in the Old World. Here we can see that we have placed down six Pearl Farms that are lined to the Trading post by road. The Pearls will be sent directly to the Trading post for the delivery to the Old World. When we look at the Gold Mines the shear number of them will more than likely mean that you will need to get this many Gold Mines across more than one island. These can then be transported back to the Old World for processing.

Option 4

In this layout we can see that we have now added Trade unions to the layouts so that you can improve the productivity and efficiency of the buildings that this covers.
