This is the Gramophone Factory in Anno 1800. It is used for the production of Gramophones. It sits at the end of the Gramophone production chain. To produce the Gramophones it requires Wood Veneers from the Wood Veneers production chain and Brass. The Gramophone Factory will produce one ton of Gramophones every minute.

Improvements

In this section we will look at the Improvements that we can make to the Gramophone Factory to increase its productivity and efficiency. The first thing that we will look at will be the placement of the Gramophone Factory. This is key as this can cut down on the delivery of items to and from the Factory. The next thing will be the items that we can add to the Trade union to benefit the Gramophone Factory.

Placement

In this section we will look at the placement of the Gramophone factory. When dealing with the placement of the Gramophone Factory it is imperative that it is designed in a way so that their less transport time overall along with speedy entry into your inventory of the Gramophones

Here we can see the basic placement of the Gramophone Factory here. As we can see we have the four Marquetry Workshops along with Brass Smelteries to feed the Gramophone Factory. We also have a Warehouse to send the Gramophones into and then into your inventory.

Trade union

In this section we will look at what items we need to add to the Trade union to get benefits to the Gramophone Factory. You can obtain these items from Trading with NPC’s, going on expeditions, quests and world events amongst others. Lets now take a look at these items.

Layouts

In this section we will be looking at what layouts we can use for the Gramophone Factory. Layouts are a key mechanic of your Anno 1800 experience. Lets take a look at these layouts now.

Option 1

In this layout we can see that we have a perfect Gramophone production chain. The wood will go directly in to the Marquetry Workshops for the production of Wood Veneers. Once created the Wood Veneers will go directly to the Gramophone Factory. On the right hand side of the diagram we can see that wee have two Copper Mines along with two Zinc Mines. These will send their items into the Warehouse which will then go into the Brass Smelteries that are located next to the Gramophone Factory. The Brass that these create will go straight into the Gramophone Factory for the Gramophones production chain. Once produced these will go straight in to the Warehouse and then into your inventory.

This layout when running at 100 percent will produce four tons of Gramophones per minute. This will supply 760 Investor residences or up to 38000 Investors.

Option 2

Here we see the same layout as above but w have now added Trade unions so that you can add items to improve the productivity and efficiency of the Gramophone Factories along with buildings that supply it.
